Meet Your Cleaner Before They Start Your Domestic Cleaning Assignment
We recommend all clients arrange a meeting with their allocated domestic cleaner prior to accepting them for the cleaning work at their home.
In this way you can instruct your cleaner on the regular cleaning tasks that you will need them to carry out for you and you can also instruct them regarding preferred cleaning materials and of course show them where your cleaning materials are. You can instruct them on the use of your vacuum cleaner and also we advise cleaners to bring along with them proof of their identity (passport or driving licence) and proof of their address (e.g. recent utility bill) for your peace of mind. Whilst we could easily see these ourselves at cleaner interview stage it is still possible that the cleaner visiting you is not the person who was interviewed so we find that on first visit to yourself it is best for you to see sight of proof of identity and address for security reasons. We also advise cleaners to bring along their references so you can see them for yourself.
Once you have met your cleaner and decided that you are happy with them, simply ask them to start and arrange a mutually convenient start day.
We provide a cleaning task sheet so that you can advise your cleaner what is required with regards to your cleaning routine.
